America in Bloom: Community Engagement and Green Industry Opportunities

We all understand that we can sow a few seeds and with proper care, water, nutrition and sunshine yield some beautiful plants.  If we’re lucky, we’ll make a profit.  This seminar will focus on a national program whereby a horticultural business can “sow a few seeds in one’s community” and reap the rewards “all the way to the bank.”  Learn how the horticulture green industry engaged the America in Bloom national community enhancement competition in Kirkwood, MO, population 27,300, winner of the 2007 America in Bloom Community Involvement Criteria Award.
