The Hort Co-op is taking the Gardeners' Village on the road with a series of stops throughout the Gateway region. The second stop will be at Hillermann Nursery & Florist at the corner of 5th Street and Hwy 100(east of Washington, MO). Regional experts conduct programs on environmental sustainability in gardening practices. Inspired by Earth Day, the focus will be on green living and gardening green. Lectures will include Native Plants in the Garden, Greening up the Garden with Natural and Organic Solutions, and Tips for a Greener Lifestyle.
