Plan to attend the 13th annual
Nursery Day, a St. Louis horticulture industry tradition presented by the staff of
Missouri Botanical Garden/Kemper Center for Home Horticulture and
Plants of Merit with volunteer host assistance from
St. Louis Master Gardeners and sponsor support from the
Landscape and Nurserymen's Association of Greater St. Louis. This
FREE admission event is open to all professional members of the horticulture green industry.
8:30 am: Registration & Refreshments at the MBG Ridgway Center
9:00 am: Program: Where Green & Sustainable Meet by featured presenter: Jennifer Duffield White, Ball Publishing (Ridgway Center Shoenberg Auditorium)
10:00 am: Horticultural Plastic Container Recycling Update (Ridgway Center Shoenberg Auditorium)
10:30 am: Presentation: Plants of Merit 2009 (Ridgway Center Shoenberg Auditorium)
12:00 noon: Lunch (Kemper Center/Cohen Amphitheater)
1:00 pm: Tour Monsanto Recycling Center or Tour the Gardens on your own
Who should attend?: ALL green industry professionals interested in ornamental landscape plants including
retail garden center managers and staff, landscape and land care professionals, professional gardeners, landscape managers, horticulture consultants, horticulture educators, garden writers, wholesale nursery and greenhouse growers, and horticultural sales/marketing reps.
