The K-State Bedding Plant Field Day features educational talks during the afternoon, a walking tour of the coneflower trial, the ornamental grass trial and the container trials followed by a barbeque feast for dinner. After dinner, a tour will feature the bedding plant field research trials. The event starts at 1:00pm.


The Field Day will feature:

• All America Selections (AAS) national flower trials
• 475+ flower cultivars in field research trials
• 200+flower cultivars in container trials
• 50+ Echinacea cultivars in perennial flower trial
• 100+ cultivars in ornamental grass trial
• All America Selections (AAS) national vegetable trials
