The conference gives communities the opportunity to learn first-hand about recent experiences in local projects, the reality of the bottom line, the benefits they provide and the challenges they present to local governments, developers, consultants and the local communities where they are built. The program features Keynote speakers, Peter Raven, president of Missouri Botanical Garden and Warren T. Byrd, Jr., principal Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects and designer of Citygarden. Byrd will also lead a pre-conference garden tour, weather permitting. Sessions address a range of local projects, regulatory issues and more.
